Atlantic Park will be a vibrant, year-round destination at Virginia Beach, seamlessly blending a live entertainment venue, creative office spaces, urban residences, and a curated mix of unique ` shopping and dining options – all infused with authentic Virginia Beach style. As the birthplace of East Coast surfing, Atlantic Park will be home to the only human-made wave park globally powered by Wavegarden Cove technology, creating an unparalleled ocean-like surfing experience.

ECRS has been instrumental in providing comprehensive access and scaffolding solutions to support the construction and development of this landmark project, spanning multiple structures and meeting the diverse needs of various contractors on-site.

Delivering solutions for such a dynamic and multifaceted projectcomes with its own set of unique challenges:

Varied Architectural Needs: The project spans multiple structures including a parking garage, multi-use venues, and residential areas requiring customized scaffolding and access solutions for different contractors, such as Valcon Masonry, Agent Wall Systems, and James River Exteriors, across various construction phases.
High Structure Requirements: Elevated platform installations inside the “Dome” event center (150′ x 120′ x 45′) required precise scaffold configurations to ensure stability and accessibility for interior and exterior wall applications.
Extended Project Timeline: The project requires ongoing, multi-phase support, with scaffolding and shoring solutions for site areas like parking garages and exterior stucco installations. Additionally, a buck hoist on the Northeast building will be in place for six months to aid vertical transport needs for Breeden Companies.
